It is heavily reccomended to join the National Speleological Society. All VCA board members must be NSS members and in order for our grotto to remain active we need active members that are also NSS members. Click the first link to find out more.
NOTE: According to current bylaws, membership payed at any point during a year will only count till the end of that calendar year (hint: wait to pay until January). You DO NOT need to be a member to attend quarterly meetings. You must be a current member in order to join an offical VCA trip.
Benefits & FAQs
Members are eligible to go on VCA sponsored trips, both in-state and out-of-state. Instruction in general safety and various caving techniques are to be expected from trip leaders. Certain trips will also have loaner gear accessible for newer members!
